This transformer has a total output of 300W. You can put all of the load on one terminal and do not need to limit them to 75W output from each terminal.

How to choose your transformer: 1. Calculate the total wattage of all the fixtures you are powering. 2. The total loaded wattage of landscaping lights should not exceed 80% of the rated capacity of the transformer.

How to use this transformer with a smart plug/timer: 1. Make sure you connect the timer before the transformer. The order should be power supply - smart plug/timer - transformer. 2. Switch the transformer to "ON" mode and connect it to your smart switch when the transformer is in the "ON" mode.
